For a day that started off with a torrential downpour, Wednesday afternoon was perfect for a kayaking adventure down the Mountain Fork section of the Broken Bow River.  With three kayaks and a canoe, our little group navigated the waterfalls, chutes, rocks, and calm waters for four miles of bliss.  No boats were overturned, though I think they all took on water.  We stopped a few times to swim, and ended the afternoon with aching arms and sunburnt thighs.  If I didn’t want a kayak before, I certainly want one now!  I think I could be out on the river every single day and it would never get old.
