Calvary D-Now 2013!

Last Friday, a group of 15 students from LSU traveled to Calvary Baptist Church in Alexandria, to help out with their Disciple Now Youth weekend.  Though there were also students from LSUA, LC, NSU, and LaTech, there still weren’t enough college students to have two per house, so I had a small group of seventh grade girls.  (Our house was one of four seventh grade girl houses! So many of them!).  There were seven  girls in my little group, and they were fabulous.  They listened and asked questions during our serious times, then played games and laughed and danced during our fun times! I forget that that age still likes to play, so we played Toilet Tag, Telephone, Ninja, Fishbowl, Charades, Wink, The Scissor Game, and had some dance parties! Side note – when 7th grade girls make fun of your dancing, you’ve truly arrived.  Here’s some shots from the weekend!

This weekend made a great one to not be studying, for the first time in months.  I had such a good time loving on these girls!
