#RunPink

A few months ago, I wrote a post about my next half-marathon, the Woman’s Half Marathon and 10k.  It’s an all-women race, which means lots of bling and pink! A few months ago, I was contacted to be a RunPink Ambassador and spread the news about the race to women in the area.  I jumped on immediately! I’m all about community education and health awareness.

So what’s the big deal about another half marathon?
-This one is all-women, which adds an extra touch of camaraderie that regular half marathons don’t have (and also means lots of pink!!).
-The race is also all about women’s health, which is vital.  We as women are good at taking care of everyone else, but to keep that up, we also have to learn to take care of ourselves.  What better way than to train for and participate in a race?
-You can choose from the 5k, 10k, or half-marathon.  Up to Mile 3, you can pick between the half and 10k! That leaves lots of flexibility.

INTERESTED YET? I thought so.
